ESPECH has been playing a vital role in the identification of significant public health issues, such as social and environmental influences impacting healthy living, within the same geographic regions. We develop intervention strategies to resolve urban infrastructure shortages, such as setting up community health centers, mobile clinics, and services for outreach. To promote life changes, ESPECH inform people about the importance of medical treatment and safe lifestyles. We ensure the availability of essential medical services like screenings, therapy, and counseling in our targeted areas.
In case of emergencies we request cost reduction of expensive treatments and hospitalizations, by advocating to state and federal officials for better treatment for at-risk communities. ESPECH works alongside other neighborhood groups to discuss the emotional, physical, cultural, and social features of the local area, including housing, nutrition and transportation.
A significant number of lives have been saved thanks to medical camps. Clinics organized and run by ESPECH have been conducted in The Gambia, with Gambian and British medical professionals on hand to perform examinations, prescribe or administer any required medicine, or provide any necessary specialized treatment.
